The purpose of this exhibition is to introduce in Japan the works of Northern Italian artists who have studied the excellent Italian art of the past and have built their own world of expression, trusting in their own sensibilities and using unique and free methods in Italy, a country with such a wonderful artistic history.

The profession of the photographer in Padua in the 20th Century

An editorial project which is the result of a study and historical research work on the activity of a photographic studio that was founded at the beginning of the century from which survives an archive of over 200.000 negatives that covers almost 50 years of the life of the city, approximately from the 1950s to end of the millennium.
This initiative was created also in support of the exhibition 1000 faces of a city.

This is a project with an origin now more than 20 years old, which is finally coming to realization.
We will soon publish here more details about the program's development.
We are preparing several initiatives to support it, including a search for funding and sponsorship, a crowdfunding, and the development of a communication and publication activity both in print and online, through this website and a monthly newsletter: if you wish to contribute or stay informed you can contact us via the e-mail address at the bottom of the page.
Is a cultural association officially founded in April 2024 but present on the Internet in various forms since 1998.
The main activity is aimed at the development of cultural and exhibition projects in art and photography and the management and enhancement of analog and digital photographic archives.
Some of our founding members are active with decades of experience in their respective fields of operation, implementing initiatives nationally and internationally.
ArTeam has its headquarters and center of interest in Padua, in the North Italy region Veneto, but is developing other projects and relationships elsewhere in Italy, as well as in France and Belgium.
We are on the internet since 1998
At that time Google was practically non-existent, Yahoo was on a page, Fb and all the social networks had yet to be born. But most of all, the age of the Internet in the telephone was something that - still 10 years later - we imagined as if it were science fiction.
Despite this, here on ArTeam.it there are pages, ideas and projects that are still alive and valid, visible below in the Archive.
In this age when every 6 months everything changes and therefore everything has to be easy, immediate & free, we still believe that this is not always true, that things well done are still done with passion, patience and experience: we can say that almost everything changes, but something remains! ;-)
