Operculum Jewelry

Since centuries the Occhio di Santa Lucia (St. Lucy's Eye) -- each one the operculum or foot-closure of a sea-snail called Astrea Rugosa -- are traditional amulets here in Italy.

To celebrate both the traditional "lucky sign" and the natural shell-- that we consider a jewel as well --, we have designed a new jewelry collection with golden sets.

We produce our own pendants and earrings but we have done many different items for our customers, according to their willings, while we are studying new designs.

• Operculum's 3 sizes are:
  • Small size = less than
  • Medium size = from_ to _
  • Large size = bigger than
• Please note that Operculum is a natural product, so there are slight differences in color, shape and sizes, making each item a unique piece.
• Every item, following the Italian law in this matter, bears the 750‰ mark for goldware (18 kt) alloy.
